建築とインテリアは似て非なるもの？
写真家「仲佐猛」さんの、還暦祝い誕生日パーティーに行ってきました。
仲佐さんは、Nacasa & Partnersの代表取締役で有名な空間系の写真家。
このパーティーの発起人は、Nacasa & Partnersさんをはじめ、
形見一郎さん
片山正通さん
橋本夕紀夫さん
森田恭通さん
などといった、日本インテリア会を代表する人々でした。
集まった人は500人くらい（かな？）。
これだけの人が集まる建築系パーティーだと、政治系の方が一人くらい居そうですが、
参加者は飲食・物販系の経営者、デザイナー、関連企業の方々が100％。
会のノリや企画、参加者の雰囲気も、本当に賑やか。
インテリアは、建築と同様「空間を扱う」仕事ですが、
メンタリティーや動き方、嗜好が全く違います。
個人的には、両方とも好きです。
一人のインテリアデザイナーが
「ナカサさんの誕生日は、インテリア会の大事な（社交界的な）お祭りなのです。」
と教えてくれた。
仲佐さんの写真は、特に空気感は素晴らしく、
これに対するデザイナーからの信頼が、これだけの大人数を集める人脈を作り上げのだろう。
また、写真にとどまらず、メディア自体を作ろうとしている動きは
宣伝効果を欲しがっているデザイナーにはありがたいことであろう。
今の僕の興味は、ナカサさんが除く「空間」に、建築とインテリアの違いがあるのかということ。
作り手と、（空間の）切り取り手のギャップを知りたい。
空間のを見るプロの視点は、「作ること」に何かを与えてくれるかもしれない。
