クリノ・カステロ氏来日
今週はイタリアデザイン界の巨匠クリノ・カステロ(Clino Trini Castelli)が東京にいらっしゃった。国際的なインダストリアルデザイナー、理論家として知られる彼は、CMF(カラー・マテリアル・フィニッシュ)先駆者として知られている。さらには、有名なイタリアのデザイン学校ドムス・アカデミー（Domus Academy）の創設メンバーの一人でもある。
今回83回目の来日となる彼は日本料理愛好家で、日本の名店に関しては僕より知っている。アペリティフや夕食をご一緒させていただきながら、金融世界危機がデザインに与える影響、未来のデザインの可能性についてお話させていただいた。
デザインの目的は「美しいカタチ」ではなく、「美しい関係」を作り出すこと。
僕の考えているデザインが自分の考えとリンクしていることを彼は非常に喜んでくれた。 おかげで僕もより自信を持て進んで行ける。
最後に彼が言ったことば。
人々は「カタチ」といった分かり易いハードのデザインが受け入れられやすい。しかし、本当に重要で意味があるデザインは、物や人の「関係性」のようなソフトをデザインしていくこと。
それは、一般に分かりにくいので評価されにくいが、これを謳っていくのがこれからのデザイナーの使命だと。

I’m impressed, I must say. Really rarely do I encounter a blog that’s each educative and entertaining, and let me tell you, you've hit the nail on the head. Your thought is outstanding; the difficulty is something that not enough people are talking intelligently about. I am very comfortable that I stumbled across this in my seek for one thing referring to this.
